Quickbooks & Google Checkout Integration | May 20th, 2008
As a web designer / programmer I am always trying to learn new things. Lately, I have been focused on Quickbooks integration with Google Checkout. I prefer Google Checkout for handling transactions because its secure, easy to use from a customers point of view, inexpensive in terms of credit card processing (free if you use adwords), and much more. Although Google Checkout does a great job of record keeping and storing sales receipts, it ends there in terms of accounting features. Google will probably come out with some sort of accounting software that will integrate seamlessly, but until then, I’ll run my accounting through Quickbooks and recommend my clients to do the same.

We have recently created a SEO search listing gadget that allows websites to show off their top ranking in Google, Yahoo!, and MSN. The gadget is aimed at other web developers in hopes that they will use it on their site. This post is a tutorial for setting up our Google Gadget on your site.
